I’ve started this blog with the hopes that one day I can be a support and mentor to others who are facing or have faced life changing challenges whether it be of a personal nature or otherwise.
I hope to provide perspective even to those who are living a ‘normal’ everyday life. I believe that mindset is the key to how well we live our lives and how our choices can and ultimately will influence our stories.
We each have the ability to learn and grow from our own experiences and those of others.
I am here to share my version of what hope looks like, feels like and share my story of surviving grief… all while having a good laugh and cry of the challenges and triumphs life throws at us.
I have lived and still continue to live a wonderful life with my beautiful family and friends alike.

First and foremost I am a mother to two beautiful nearly teenage boys. They are and always will be my entire reason for existing, and the motivator to better myself in everyway possible. Family is a very important part of my life, and I am very fortunate to have the most wonderful family surrounding us.
From a professional standpoint, I come from a sales, marketing, managerial and coaching background.. yes, I can sell ice to eskimo's - I do have the 'gift of the gab' some might say. But I am also a creative at heart that loves to draw, cook and even Dj every now and again.
I enjoy reading anything Neuro related.. from brain health, disease right to neuroplasticity.. I'm here for all of it. I love people - from all walks of life. You'll often find me striking up a conversation with a complete stranger at my local café. People just fascinate me and their stories even more.
Supporting women and particularly women in business is a project passion of mine. We need to cheer each other on here and support each other where ever we can! I'm all about lifting others up and recognising skill sets... we are all so unique in this way in life and in business. Harnessing this is such a powerful tool.
All this leads to my WHY.. My story. It's exactly why it has compelled me to embark on this blogging journey. My story is of a deep and personal nature.
In 2022, I lost my husband Anthony to a horrible Brain Cancer disease. He was fine one minute and the next it felt like our whole lives were thrown into the depths of hell. He was diagnosed in 2021 with a Glioblastoma - an incurable and invasive primary Brain Cancer. From that day, I watched my best mate, my world go from bad to worse as his condition worsened. I did things that I would never wish upon my worst enemy (not that I have any.. that I know of!!) so that I could care for him - and I would never have changed that.
Through this difficult life event and tragedy, I was forced into a learning curve. In saying that it is one of the positive things I've gotten out of such a terrible situation. I am continuing this learning and growth journey as everyday presents its challenges and triumphs.
I hope to share with you all snippets of my past and glimmers of my future all in a bid to provide a positive perspective on life after grief, shining a spotlight on Brain Cancer and keeping Anthony's legacy alive.
I won't promise you it will change your life, but i will certainly try to show you how mindset directly correlates to living your best life.
